| I'm sure i promised this to Eli a while back! I'd orginally planned to do the standard manga version, But I just can't get it to work with my body shape. So i've picked this version instead, I've made the bodice with a low back and beaded the gold decorations to give it more of a stage look! The costume is pretty much finished now, I just need to take it in a little nearer the time. ------------------- All finished! Just wondering how on earth to fit a tutu into a suitcase! I ended up mostly using left over fabric for this costume. The Black satin is lying around from caterina and the gold fabric is a remenant from Kozue. The Details have been either hand or machine appliqued onto the costume. I added extra sparkly details with yellow, gold and cream beads and sequins. I ordered the feather trim from ebay (by far the cheapest place!)and stiched it onto the edge of the tutu. The crown was made with beads, pearls and wire. I've done a few pointe lessons in ballet, but i'm no where near a practiced expert. I can balance on two feet, thats about it. | |

How on Earth do the bits at the front stay up on their own? o_0 Some severe body tape shall be involved in this costume lawl.
I have no idea.. It gonna have to be some sort of stick on device, including spirit gum and latex me thinks..
My dear friend Nocternal-Blossom recommends Sock glue! And from experience she says its brilliant!

Be careful with the en point ballet shoes- if you don't have years of practice they can severely damage your toes. Even ballet dancers have to be very careful about doing it.

Yah! I have actaully been training as a ballerina for a year now, and this costume is basically on hold till I have started point work! (Which according to my teacher is not far off!)
She does wear the ultimate plunge top, doesn't she? I'm sure you'll pull it off really well though! I will be looking about at Aya for you! ^^ (YAY for Princess Tutu~!)
