| i'm doing the version made famous by the battle of helms deep, so the kit consists of :- Red Under Shirt Chainmail - Almost done, slight alterations needed Brown Leather Jerkin - Purchased, slight alterations Black leather Trousers - Complete Boots - Need Weathering Gondor Bracers - In Progress Glove Belt - have a failsafe, but needs improvement Original Strider Sword Hunting Knife extras depending on time and money :- Ring Evenstar Coat Quiver Bow Cloak Event :- October Expo 2012, Attending with a Legolas and treebeard so far, maybe more All kit will require appropriate weathering | |

thanks ^^ I'm real looking forward to it myself XD Yes i'm making the chainmail and hoping to do real leather but depends on funds, it will at least be immitation leather, not using fabric, everything I have will be appropiately weathered as well XD
Awesome! That's pretty much a must foor good LotR costumes :D (though chainmail is still only an ambition of mine... ;p )
hehe, i do viking reenactment so chainmail is a worthwhile investment for me XD
Shaping up to be a really nice cosplay.
