| A group cosplay.. we first intended to just have a Pokemon group for the Cosplay Cafe at AmeCon, but we ended up with just Pallet town instead, with myself as Delia (Ash's Mum, yes, laugh all you want.) The majority of this was bought or made by my mum when I was away XD the only things that needed making were the skirt and her cardigan.. shawl.. thing. The pink cardigan-shawl thing was based from a similar yellow cardigan-shawl thing my mum bought for £5 from M&S. She used the original as a pattern, cut a new one and sewed it together. The skirt was made from scratch as far as I'm aware from a horrible washed out blue fabric. It fit nicely and was comfy though. The yellow undertop was bought from Matalan for about £4. I still wear it to this day :D it's nice and long and really comfy. The shoes were crummy little white things I got from Priceless shoes for about £5. They had horrible rope bows I chopped off and are the most uncomfortable things I've ever had to wear. They were too big, but at the same time, really horribly tight. Erm. My hair was mine, and tied at the bottom to match Delia's. I tried curling it up but failed.. not that it really mattered o_O I looked like a granny in this. Crummy little shoes, shawl, washed out skirt.. oh the embarassment. And to make matters worse the only people who recognised me were the rest of the cafe lot and even then I was STILL asked, lol. Never wearing this again, no no no, not even for a photoshoot. Why does Delia deserve one anyway? | |
