Wing Design (Posted 13th October 2011) Right. So this is my blood wing design. It’s not the neatest thing, but hopefully it’s going to work out when I make it this weekend. |

Construction Ideas? (Posted 9th October 2011) This is just a bit of a ramble of how I'm hoping to do this. Though I have no idea whether it will work or not. First of all I’m going to have a cardboard base in the shape of a basic wing arc (shown in sketch #3 on the far left). I was then going to have 7-8 big blades/feathers. stuck on the back of the base (shown in sketch #3). Then I would flip it over and have cover up the majority of the cardboard base a “feathered” A3 piece (shown in sketch #1), and then use smaller feathers behind that to cover the edges. I really hope this is making sense. I would then flip it over again and “bulk up” the back with the rest of the foam. |
