| BECAUSE I NEED SOMETHING NEW TO MAKE. Something with ~details~ on it which will take time and keep me busy for longer than a week or two. I've been re-playing IX and these designs are on my disks and they're pretty. It was a toss up between this or Zidane, but hilariously and unintentionally this one would partner j_merc's Celes on the Thursday, so this one has won out (for now.) Will also work as a back up costume should anything go wrong with anything else. Plus I will get to make a prop according to my reference image and props are fun. In progress now, and going surprisingly well! About a quarter of the way there now. | |

Yay, you added it....erm, we'll both be doing yellow costumes on that day... :lol:
Actually, I'll be going more for the brown/sandy colour for Celes, but it did stick me that both the Amano versions of the our cosplays are yellow....
...I hadn't actually thought of that, but you're right! I'm now even more amused than I was before.
You will look amazing...Garnet is such a great character
this costume has the potential to be gorgeous, working from Amano's ethereal design. I agree that props are fun! Best of luck with this.
