| Hyung Tae Kim draws some absolutely breathtaking designs, and I was desperate to try and cosplay one of them. I decided to go for one of his random encounter monsters after seeing the initial artwork and falling in love with the bold colours and patterns. It's what I love in designs, dramatic! I also thought it would be a real challenge as she doesn't have any legs, is pretty much blind and has giant hands. What sealed my decision to cosplay this was playing through the game and discovering that when you first encounter the Red Magi creatures, they're acting as demon librarians. I could hardly walk, I could hardly see and if I did fall over, my hands were trapped, meaning I wouldn't be able to break my fall. It was a lot of fun though and I got to use some beautiful fabrics including a vintage silk chiffon. | |
