| This was a simple costume that I decided to put together for a Waterstones Manga night. I had bought the dress a while back, because I was going to cosplay as Anna with my sister as Yoh, But she never got hers ready, adn the dress got put in a cupboard. When I hears about the Waterstones manga night I decided to grab the dress and buy a cheap wig. The red bandanna was free. My sister bought some red material for a FMA costume and I borrowed some for my cosplay. The blue beads were bought for me by my sister and are actual prayer beads. The red sandals were bought for me by my dad. I didn't have them on the manga night, but I went to London the day after to go to Expo, and I saw the shoes in a shop, and my dad bought me them. The Only problems I had with the costume was the shortness of the dress. I kept fearing that I would fall out of the dress, or that I was flashing everyone when I sat down. it's definatly not a costume I would advise if you feel a bit insecure. It also didn't help that I had to wear it through town to get there. Advise to anyone cosplaying at a manga night. If it's skimpy, get changed in the store. | |
