| Chibi Tidus here. I have an urge to do this tanned surfer dude 8D Not sure which version I want to do ... his Dissidia outfit is fantastic but requires more work, and the more work I do the less impressive it seems to be. XD Well, I've decided to go for his X default costume to match my friends' X costumes. Ugh. XD The more I look at him, the more those dungarees scare me. Wish me lots of luck T__T Closet Tidus fans - UNITE! After Kita: someone actually asked if they could have a photo of him punching me because he hated Tidus so much. Maybe that means I pulled him off? Perfect backhanded compliment, perhaps (literally!). Still was a bit miffed but because I'm a good sport, I played along. Should have kicked him in the nuts though. XD I did not intend to do the Masquerade using this, but because I kinda like how it turned out and my FFX girly friends wanted to do it, I did (after some serious persuasion!). It was fun though, so I'm glad I did. ^^ | |

Just be finished already (Posted 27th March 2012) This is very close to completion. Wheee! All I have left is to cut and style the wig, and make a new chest suit. I really can't think of anything else I need to do. O_o What a weird feeling! Oh, and I want to have a blitzball, but all I really have to do is paint a football. Not entirely accurate, but would it be a serious crime if I didn't add the nobbley bits? |

Completely practical arm wear -COUGH- (Posted 6th March 2012) Well, the good news is that this costume, which I thought would be a deceptively pain in the neck, has gone smoothly and doesn't look as shabby as usual. I'm not sure why the FF gods have blessed me this time round, but maybe it's because they are taking pity on poor chibi!Tidus. This armour thingy gives me arm cramp within 30 seconds, BUT - I quite like it. It still needs a chain and rings to complete it. I can manage that. Yes ... |

ASBO Tidus (Posted 19th January 2012) Now, I didn't take progress shots of my hoodie, BECAUSE it was really a test run that actually went ok. So my first attempt is also my last. XD Never made a hood before, so that's my excuse for it being a bit odd. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it, and it looks fairly snazzy when I put it on with the dungarees. It is also, for all those die-hard perfectionists and FF fans, not the correct colour. But it has ridges in it, and that's good enough for me. Do you know how hard it is to find yellow fabric that is stretchy/ridged???? DO YOOU???? It's hard. |

Me Trooooooooooooosers (Posted 14th January 2012) Ok, so the next step was the trousers. Rather than making the whole thing dungarees, I decided to make to seperate things. Trust me, it'll be better this way! Easier to put on and take off. I think I've made more pairs of trousers for cosplay than anything else. Anyway, this was the first bit I did, making them into shorts. |

The First (Posted 8th January 2012) Why YES, I have been working on this. It all began a while ago, probably back in October or something. I cut out some fabric, and then I abandoned it in favour of non-cosplay stuff. But I pulled it out and stuck it all together. Damn I love Tidus's dungaree things, so that's what I'm starting with. Here's a picture of the work I've done on them, although they need tidying up somewhat. I'm pretty happy with it! |

Yes it is! I've always wanted to do Tidus but I've only just mustered the strength to go along with it, although I'll be uber chibi!
I was going to say wait, what, how did I manage to miss ALL your progress updates on Tidus!? Then I noticed you posted all the journals on the same day. Sneaky. But the progress is great! Your Tidus-wear is looking all-around fabulous. I salute your valiant efforts to find the rare Lesser Spotted Yellow Ridge Material.

...three comments on one costume is probably spam but, gauntlet. The gauntlet needs a comment all of its own. Clean lines and shape, it looks excellent even if it does compromise bloodflow to your arm!

I meant to check this something like three weeks ago. Jeez, what amz linear time? (also: go commentspam of which I am a master) Anyway. I stand by what I said on that long-lost night on messenger with your first photograph: hell yeah. You really made Tidus work for you aesthetically, and the costume build quality is so high. Very successful context/group photographs, too-- everyone looks great together.
P.S: nice blitzball, did you pull off the Jecht Shot? ;D
