| I love this game, and it definately does not get cosplayed enough, so I decided that I would give it a try. Out of all the characters that suit my body shape Cadie has the most iconic costume, so hopefully she shoul dbe recogniseable for anyone who has played the game, and being a mage she will look really cool the day before halloween. It's far more revealing than anything else i've attempted before, but actually has less exposed skin than some of my others so i'm hoping it's not too cold for october; just in case though, I've gone with stretch velvet as a base for the bodysuit. I am making her staff too, although it isn't shown very much in the game, as props making posing more interesting. But yeah... i am mad. | |

September (Posted 14th September 2011) So, quite a lot done already. Just knocked together the bottom half of the bodysuit and so far jsut a few problems that i need to iron out; firstly i'm slowly realising i'm the wrong shape for this cosplay... too frelling skinny without bulky clothes for a start, but there's not much i can do about that. I'm kinda hoping that when the bra is sewn into it, the curves will hold in place a bit better. Secondly strech bodysuits only work with support, so the front and back cut outs in this costume are likely to kill it, so i'm probably going to have to glue it on and add stirrups at the feet. |

Have you thought about using skin colour fabric/mesh up the front to keep the tension in the bodysuit (like ice skating and dance costumes)?

Amy-Lou - yeah I thought about it, but it's virtually impossible to get my skin colour and blending it in with the bra section and my exposed shoulders would be far too difficult to get right, so I'm gonna stick it onto my skin to keep the shape.
