| Shockwave has always been my favourite Decepticon and i've been looking forward to making him for some time. I made this as part of a group with White Leviathans Starscream and we alos put on a skit. This costume was made using the PVC over foam technique and was a bit of an eye opener, really I think my choice of materials was very wrong and the technique could be improved conciderably with higher density foam and different material. So, while I love the way the costume looks I'm really dissapointed in it from a quality and construction point of view. Oh well! The eye is rigged up so that I can make it flash in time with his voice and his gun also lights up. Unlike Prime this costume was made to fit me without any additional height so there are some inherant proportion problems. The chest should be a lot bigger and the head smaller - this is sadly an inherant problem with this size transformers costume, I think I've done quite a good job of minimizing it however. | |

I loved this... it was great to see a Shockwave cosplay - I'd never seen him cosplayed before. Both your and Starscream's costumes looked great on stage, and the skit was super. ^^
