| My brother and I decided to enter together at Starfury Serenity Complete 2008. It was the first time we had entered a comp together in years. We decided to go with something a little different. So yessiry-bob! I'm in a rare girl cosplay that is showing most of my legs. Very rare sight. Dosen't happen often. Since the main focus was on the make-up and my brother's painting the actual costume itself had to be quite basic. So the top was made combining two tops. I then hand painted on the Wildcats logo on the front. The skirt was made from a basic skirt pattern which I altered to match the skirt design. The fun part! The make-up. The leg injury was a putty base that had the cut put into it. Latex was added around the ages to keep it from coming off as the sprirt gum wasn't sticking. Busing make-up was then applied before the fake blood was poured on. The face make-up was basic busing FX with the fake blood added. We did originally plan to have a brick going through my neck (my brother has a noveity foam brick that looks real) but he forgot to take it so we improvised with a coffee cup that we found in the hotel room. The cup base was modified so that it could be stuck to me with sprirt gum. Fake Blood was then applied. My brother was playing the part of Isaak. The picture on the painting is an in joke for Starfury events. I loved getting the play with make-up but hated showing my legs(have a naked phobia called Gymphobia). The make-up on my leg meant I couldn't get up stairs and couldn't run. I ended up putting on weight prior to the event. So my normal falt tummy wasn't there *sob* | |

Ah, pictures! It looks so cool! It's quite rare that I see you cosplay a girl but I'd love to see you do it more, you look very pretty (for someone covered in gore)

Odangochan, Sands and Silver_Shards, I'm not sure if I would want to do more female costumes. I think that will depend on the costume. I barely lasted two hours in Claire due to my 'Nekkid' phobia. So it would have to be a costume thats more covered than most anime/gaming/film characters.
