MAD RUSH FOR MIDLANDS! D: Okay so Fai was a no no, I was going to try to get Maka out but I couldn't find a decent skirt, so I was contemplating Nia but it worked out too expensive [Because I wanted spending money] Damn Taunton fabric shops and expensive prices! Mum saved my butt by asking what shade of pink I needed I showed her a picture and she came down from upstairs with a lovely soft pink sheet the perfect shade So I stuck one of my unfitted school blouses down on the material [They're REALLY big I can just slip them over my head without undoing the buttons] Drew round it in fabric pencil and made it longer. Then I hand stitched the main dress [I only hand stitched as the machine has blue on it and I couldn't be bothered to change it] I just need to hem the skirty bit and that's the pink done. The skirt was a 4 meter circle skirt I made last year, I just trimmed it and hem ed it shorter, gave it an iron, took it in and it was done. All the jewelry was made from craft foam, and the jewels from fimo, I had huge problems with this as they kept dropping off everywhere! The shoes weren't accurate but was best I could do so last minute, next time I re wear this cosplay I'll have better shoes. I didn't have have to get a wig either so I simply used my own hair and spent along time colouring the ends a blue colour. [Thankyou izzy for the help here XD] I'd like to re wear this even though I found it difficult to get used to a skirt and trying to be cute [I kinda failed...] I plan to remake many things on this, probably almost all of it really. Though I was pleased with the result for such a last minute rush. HUGE BIG FAT THANKYOU TO SHIGURES HIGH SCHOOL GIRL TO HELP GETTING THIS FINISHED!! <3 [Without her help it wouldn't of been done in time THANKYOU!] Also thankies to CrystalNeko for the photos! :D
