I have a newbie question (if you don't mind): how did you style the wig? Maybe glue or hairspray or some magical arcane power? Your result is excellent, though-- it looks like a complicated style to replicate because of that tricky fringe, but you got it.

@birds-hate-flying; Haha! Magical styling powers would be awesome. You could cause some serious havoc on the streets~! XD
I use a ton of hairspray, basically, but the trick is to also use a hairdryer. For adding volume and creating the curly-bits I wrap the selected hair around/over a barrel curler, spray it then blast it with heat. To keep the tips of the hair anime-pointy, PVA glue works wonders. ^__^V
OH, and the slicked-back parts are sprayed and combed back like crazy, plus I've left a couple of bobby-pins in to be safe.
I think we just found the basis for a superhero(ine) comic book-- Surprise Styling against the evil overlords Respectable Haircut and Company Requirement.
