oh dear (Posted 15th February 2012)

just did a very quick tot up of what this things cost me so far ...OMG lmao

redoing of armor (Posted 15th February 2012)

after spending nearly 2 months measuring photo's and ref pictures and drawing a scale model of every armor peice . i am nearly finished sculpting all panels .....might even have time to redo the chest ..was happy with the old one but new will be more accurate and a hell of a lot lighter :-)

gadgets (Posted 15th February 2012)

all gadgets have been tested to near destruction , robotic hand , mini turbines , motorised arms , cooling fans , lights , and sounds all working ....woohoo lol

electronics (Posted 20th September 2011)

arduino microprocessor arrived in the post today ...time for me to learn programming lol , this matted to a couple of hundred quids worth of high powered servo's and some linear actuators and i have my self some working upper limbs hehe

eva weapon (Posted 18th September 2011)

finished build of the starcraft gauze rifle now onto the rest of the eva building ....the armor , well the armor that hasn't already been built from fibreglass that is :-)

hight issues (Posted 18th August 2011)

being as this costume is 8ft tall when finished i have given myself a helping hand via a set of plasterers stilts ....once again ebay to the rescue lol (55 pounds) should add 20 inches to my height

projector (Posted 18th August 2011)

the solution i found for the projected heads up display on the costume has been found by hooking up a mini projector (85 pound) to my phone and looping a cinematic scene from starcraft

fibreglassing (Posted 18th August 2011)

all armour peices ( minus mid section ) are all well on their way ..so far 150 pound spent on fibreglass and bodyfiller hehe , damn this thing is huge :-P
