I really loved the challenge of my last Amidala gown, so here I go again. This is (seems) fairly easy, no beading this time but plenty of ruching on the shoulders and front of coat. I have bought red velvet for the coat, and orange shot taffeta for under dress. I have crocheted a design for the front of the under dress and will embellish with beads. i am still not too sure how to do the headdress, so if anyone out there has made one any help would be grateful. Holly is going as Sabe in the black (ostrich feather)decoy costume too. So plenty to work on. Started on the hairy hat of doom - this may sound daft - but I have had to let my own hair grow out so I can fix it to my head!! :D Just pray it's not windy Yay All done, now I can just fettle things at my leisure. I have 2 weeks to go and all's well!! (Now watch the cat knock the hat off the cupboard):D

Thank you, I'm wrestling with metre's of red velvet for the coat at the moment! I hope it's not too hot in October.
