Description
I wore this costume with two herniated disc in my spine. Funny if it weren't so painful. The staff posed some interesting design problems, mostly about transport. AS such it can be broken down into 6 pieces which I store flat. The perspex is a little flimsy, so I try hard not to test its breaking point! The boots were interesting. I used craft foam panelling first time, but around the ankle it just couldn't stand the wear and tear, so I painted those panels on, and kept the ones on the upper boot. I repainted the lot to a colour I felt was more accurate. The wig and ears......nightmare. The jacket itself is quite heavy, so it's actually a lot hotter than it looks. Some bits are unfinished, such as the belt connectors. I'll get there. I touched up some parts already for Hyper Japan, hopefully Ayacon will see completion
