Description
My costume of Miho from Sin City which I'm going to be wearing to the May 2009 London MCM Expo.
It's mainly made of bits and pieces obtained from eBay and altered to suit. Though a fair bit (such as the leggings and shoes) I already had.

Kimono's Done! (Posted 3rd January 2009)

It took me a rediculously long time, but I've finally managed to shorten and hem the kimono. It's now exactly the right size and looks great with the belt ^^

Change Complete! (Posted 25th November 2008)

Okay, I'm definitely going the graphic novel version now ^^;

Change of Plans... (Posted 22nd November 2008)

Okay, due to the expense of the material and my questionable sewing skills, I'm not going to be doing the blue collar and cuffs for the kimono anymore. So I'm going to end up with a weird mix of movie and comic verions. But oh well ^^;

Blast Off! (Posted 12th October 2008)

I was home over the weekend and I was able to inspect the items I have bought on eBay over the past few weeks i.e the kimono and the belt. Both are absolutely perfect! And I got a lovely surprise with the kimono. The one which was pictured on eBay had a pink inside lining which I thought I would have to dye to cover up but the one that was sent is pure black. Awesome to say the least! Since this is the third attempt at finding the right kimono it goes without saying that I'm completely thrilled.
Next thing to do will be to buy the material for the collar and cuffs. I've already found the perfect colour and pattern from a Vietnam seller. The only question just now is money >.< It may have to wait for a little while longer.
