No gold thread... no embroidery!!! (Posted 2 Months Ago) My my i have been sewing and embroidering for the past 2-3 weeks non stop and has finally come to a halt! O_O i have ran out of metalic gold thread!... i have been round the town, the next town, town after that and even the market an hour away and still have non TT^TT *sits and cries* ahhh oh well! i guess i can now concentrate on the rest of the bits and bobs for the costume... and maybe even start a back up incase this never gets finished! haha but no worries! i have ordered like 2 cones of the stuff and should be sent to me like days ago o_O... hopefully shall arrive... SOONER! lol |

OH MY GOD I FINISHED CLOAK!!! (Posted 2 Months Ago) Oh my Lord this is one hell of costume to make! But i have to say im happy that I've managed to finish the mini cloak, which took forever to do because of having to stitch layers and layers of fabric on top of another and then embroider lol. Plus i took me a while to figure how i was gonna to make this so that it fitted my head! haha because i realized my head is too big and that i can't fit it through!!! so i came up with the idea of everything being separate, which made things sooo much easier for me haha Now i am due to finish off the rest of the sleeve, though i am over joyed that i managed to embroidered the top section in 2 days! fingers crossed that i still have that power of speed haha |
