|Aha. Now this is rather funny. I was planning on cosplaying my own design of 'fem!Prussia' before the official design came out, and as a result, I discovered that my lovely wig was far too short and had to buy a new one. Now, really, that's no bad thing, because I'm seriously in love with the new one (which is about 100cm long), but it all seems like a waste of money in a way.|
Anyways, the coat is completely made from scratch, and made of the same velvet-y material I used for fem!Norway. In fact, it's the very same shade of blue, and the red in the pictures is also the same. A silvery-white lace-like trim was used all the way around the outside, with rather wide lace for the sleeves, and also added to the shirt (which was bought and customised). The buttons come from Rolls and Reems in Lewisham (as do all the materials I mention in any cosplay, including that gorgeous velvet-y stuff). Boots are white ones I just so happened to have (ebay), while the skirt is from Dorthy Perkins, if I remember right. I think I may have 'inherited' it from my cousin xD. So I suppose this is a half-made, half-edited cosplay, all in all.
I absolutely love fem!Prussia's design, so I hope I've done it some justice in this. :3 A fun, rather fancy cosplay to make.
