yay been looking forward to this part. Made the base of the sleeves out of silk, and currently dying half of the sleeves blue.

made a start on the jacket, added the detail on the back, made collar just need to attatch it with hemming tape. (got none nooooo)

Finished the light blue layer and see through layer, both with a gold edge

Upper part of the outfit - shoulders and neck (Posted 1st April 2012)

I spent the morning of today pinning to the mannequin what the shoulders and neck would look like.

Main dress layer (Posted 30th March 2012)

I spent four and a half hours , ironing gold fabric making seams, using hemming tape to iron together the gold against the blue and the gold against the white.

Dress (Posted 27th March 2012)

The dress was looking very square before I recieved the dressmaking mannequin. I put the dress on it to get the shape and added the white part of the dress.

I've been waiting a long time to do this cosplay project. I have a feeling It's going to be the most exhausting, pin puncturing outfit I will ever make. Making the dress mainly out of silk. Fabric all gathered and ready to finally continue.
