| This costume was so much fun and was recognised a lot more than what I was expecting! We started watching CCS a while ago again and I've not seen anyone do this costume in the UK before let alone with full face paint etc. Hardest part was dying the shoes as I've never done it before so it got a little messy. Easiest part was probably making the rest of it because a lot of it didn't need hemming thanks to it being lycra. :3 It was a little hot to wear obviously from the material choice but nice and light and flowing to move in. The hat stayed on really well despite the wind blowing so much and the rain didn't even touch the paint! Highlight of wearing this costume has to be being spotted by Kari the english voice actor for Sakura Kinomoto. She complimented me on the way out of the closing ceremony then signed my hat for me as the guest signings had been cancled that day! | |
