bells broaches (Posted 24th February 2012)

So Istarted on the bell broaches that are on the sides of he arms/shoulders today.
i moulded some plasticine and added some wiring inside to give something for the ribbon and bells to attach and hang from.
then i painted it white to give it some strength and provide a base coat.

another make up test. (Posted 12th February 2012)

I found some good quality make up so i decided to do another make up trial,
this looked better and fet better too. the other lot of makeup fet heavy on my face and it felt like it would smear easier.
i had some better lighting so i took a picture or two. I used a wig that was nearest to what hinoto has just to see how the fringe would fall over the forehead. i wanted to makesure it was all in the right place you know?

First makeup test (Posted 6th July 2011)

Well i've completed my first makeup test. i also tried on a wig that had a fringe so i could see how it would look, i'll need some fixative as this smudges. I'll Also need to get some fake eye lashes as hers are mega long =/

Skin testing (Posted 3rd July 2011)

As I have skin allergies to a lot of things I decided to go out and skin test a lot of the make up I would need.
after most of the day I found some that would be perfect, Unfortunatly for my wallet they're a little on the expensive side and I still have to go nd get some eye lash extentions as Hinoto has killer long eye lashes.

What material to start with? (Posted 10th June 2011)

Whilst working on other cosplays (an Edward elric jacket, My Vydra cosplay and My Clamp in 3D Land) I discovered that I had enough material left over to make an entirely new cosplay without spending a penny on any of the basic materials I needed. This makes me a very happy Kira indeed. What made me smile the most is that i have a choice of two fabrics, White and red satin or white and red cotton.
Once i've figured out which one is best I can get to work. In the mean time I can play around with my designs and figure out how the hell this cosplay comes together.
In the anime, Hinoto being totally blind and unable to walk, Spends all of the anime sat down in one way or another, This makes it VERY hard to see how the whole outfit looks, I'm gonna have to improve on this a little I think.
