| Because I wanted pink hair... This also kin df went with my Chibi020s Sheryl Nome cosplay in so much as both characters are both pink haired singers. Plus this one was easy to make and move around in. Coat: I found a size 16 red coat in a charity shop for £4.50. I took it in and attached a feather trim to the sleeves and the collar. Top: Old white t-shirt chopped and sewn. I added brown thread to pick out the detailing where the top overlaps. Feather necklace: I had yellow feathers lying around so rather than buy red feathers I painted one of the yellow ones and tied it to a shoe lace. Pink torque necklace: This was adapted from a pink jeweled necklace using paint and caulk. The torque portion is an illusion achieved by applying decorator's caulk to a chain. Trousers: Bought Boots: I couldn't find a clear image of the boots so in the end I went for a pair of military style blacks I had lying around which have the added bonus of giving me a bit of extra height. Microphone: I bought an old karaoke microphone, cut off the cable and painted in the appropriate colours. Wig: A short pink wig which was trimmed and styled with hairspray and got2be glued. Belt: I bought an elasticated silver metal belt composed of panels, painted it gold, made the dangly discs out of craft foam and stitched them in place. Simples! | |
