| This costume was pretty much all commisioned/brought ^^; Sailor Moon being the first anime I watched and one of my favourites I wished to cosplay as a scout but decided a Sailor fuku was a bit hard for me to make myself. However I do intend to give it a shot sometime- Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon I will attempt to make by hand fingers crossed! The main part of her outfit (leotard with skirt, collar & bows attached),the gloves & chocker I commissioned from superchinaseller on ebay. It wasn't quite as nice as the picture (think there's a lot of picture copyright theft between ebay cosplay sellers) and I wasn't happy they weren't prepared to alter the collar for me as the stripes are slightly wrong for Jupiter but otherwise it looks quite good. The boots, tiara & earrings I got from Catzia's collectables. The boots I was very pleased with as the style is very accurate. They came with black laces however so I just swapped them for some white ones. The colour of the boots is painted on which has scuffed slightly through use but I can always tidy them up myself. The tiara & earrings are likewise gorgeous and accurate even if the tiara digs into my head and leaves a funny mark lol The broach was a last minute order from Southern Moon creations as I had trouble locating a suitable looking gem/bit of coloured plastic that I could make into the broach myself. Some people say it's too big but I think it looks really good. The only problem is it's a tad heavy and drags my bow down a bit. My hair is naturally brown (not quite her shade however) and I also have a side fringe so the basic styling of her hair was fine. Her ponytail is quite long though so I brought an extension to clip into mine but it was cheap and matted really easy. May spend more on a better quality one next time or just have a shorter ponytail with my natural hair. Her hair bobbles I already had some years back but they were a slight too bright shade of green. I got some aqua green nail varnish and painted over them. One of the only things I actually did myself! ^^; I brought some white bikini bottoms to wear under the skirt to look like the bottom of her leotard and to protect my modesty as I didn't want to be flashing my underwear XD I think my favourite part of this costume is the tiara. Makes me feel magical. Even if it does stick in my head.
