Another Black Butler character I've fallen in love with, she's just so cute :3 I bought the dress from CosplayFu to my custom measurements, and it's great! I'm a bit disappointed that the dress is black and not dark blue but I guess that isn't really a big deal. My wig is from Ayanamisatoru, the glasses are Luke's from his James Cosplay and the boots are just my old docs. Oh and I made the headdress :) I did want to buy the perfect doc Martens for this but I couldn't really afford it so for now ny old ones will have to do. I might be able to afford the new ones for any rewears though, so that's good!

Poofies and Booties (Posted 25th May 2011)

So I was sorting through and old suitcase today and found my old black petticoat, which is ideal in giving this dress a little extra volume teamed with the white one I bought :)
On to shoes, they won't be accurate... I want to buy the knee length Cherry Doc Martens but they'd run me £90 so it's not really practical right now. I'll get them one day! The ones I have now are black and go up to half my calf so not god awful but not perfect :(

Update! (Posted 19th May 2011)

Well, I figured it was about time I updated this costume!
The dress is here, and I love it! My only two problems are that it is black and not navy blue, and also it's very tight on the elbows. I do have huge arms though so I guess that's to be expected!
The apron ties into a cute bow at the back, too! I also invested in a petticoat from eBay, which you can see attached. It's okay, and adds a little volume, but is a bit shorter than I'd realized so I'll have to wear it on my hips I think.
What else... Oh! My beautiful wig <3 From my usual seller, and I'm not disappointed.
I have some white fabric with which to make her headdress, which is easy enough to do, which means my biggest challenge is finding her boots! If need be I have some Doc Martin I can wear, but they're not knee length so I'd rather look for alternatives first.

May Expo? (Posted 3rd May 2011)

Well, I ordered the dress from Cosplayfu yesterday! It's custom sized, so can take up to 20 days to make, but I did pay about $30 for super fast shipping. Because, I had this crazy little idea that if I got lucky, it might even be here for May! Luke also spoke to the chap over MSN to tell him when EXPO is, and was told that they can make it a rush order! This of course means I'm a very happy Fables, I'd guess it has a 50% chance of being here on time.
As for the wig, I used Ayanamisatoru as usual, and am currently looking for some shoes to wear. I also ordered Luke's Sebastian wig... I'll be so flustered, how will I cope?
