|This costume was surprisingly challenging. |
We went with the L4D team under the naive assumption we could make each costume for under £40 (Hah!)
It started off with a Scarface Halloween costume (I do not reccomend it - it might be cheap but my GOD it was uncomfortable)then a relentless ebay bid-battle for a decent white suit.
Then my Claire decided to sprinkle mud made out of coffee and flour all over it - which made for very convincing muck! And smelled nicer than going out and rolling around in grass.
Claire managed to score some L4D cosplay first aid kits from Etsy to add to the look.
Also we bought a Gnome and re-painted and scuffed it.
Running around in bloodstained ripped L4D costumes in the middle of town on a rainy night amidst passers by pretending to dodge horde - in spite of the looks you get - is worth it.
That's how we roll.
