|So, my girlfriend is trailing through the Deep Roads one day and announces that she thinks we should do a Dragon Age Cosplay Group and that I'm Zevran whether I like it or not.|
I happen to think Zevran is rediculously awesome, so aside from the whole "OMFG it costs how much!?" I'm happy to go along with it!
All I need to do is get a tan, buy a suit of leather armour, twin blades and learn to speak with a Barcelona accent!
Anyhoo, it was between Wade's Drakscale Armour (simply because it's the only set of armor of his I feel I wouldnt look like an idiot wearing) or Hardened Duster Armour (because that's what he was wearing in his DA2 Cameo, thus implied continuity)
Drake won, simply because I can't do Zevran's legs justice.
Our DA team so far:
Always looking for additions!
Wig - commissioned by GodSaveTheQueenFashions
Armour - commissioned by the amazing folk at Hightwower Crafts.
Photogrqaphy - Acoustica
A Note (Posted 12th December 2012)
Whilst this has nothing to do with cosplay, I feel it necesarry to post.
I've just discovered the man from whome I commisisoned my Zevran Armor, Paul Curtis of Hightower Crafts, passed away earlier this year.
Whilst a significant amount of time has gone since his passing, I'd like to note he was an awesome, patient and rediculously talented guy, and consider myself very lucky to not only own some of his outstanding work, but to have met him.
Almost done (Posted 23rd September 2011)
Costume about 95% complete!
All I need are my Elf Ears, a spray tan and to properly fit my wig!
