SLGNESKLGNKF So i've been debating over the last few months which version of ezio (out of three i picked) I wanted to do the most. ...This isnt it.

HOWEVER. I thought instead i'll have the three in the order he gets them;

Giovanni's(his fathers old assassins clothes)
Altairs armour (black)

then i'll do others between but this one im doing first to see how it goes :D

/not looking foward to insignia belt

I'm hoping to make con safe blades for this though! :3

Makeup test (Posted 11th December 2011)

(Bad quality pic i know)

Basics of the test, rigid collodian for the lip and tanned makeup, shadow etc. my eyes are too femanin i think but a little more practice for my eye makeup to make them look smaller will be fine (im squinting slightly in this)

only tanned my face, thats why my necks white

cape (Posted 4th December 2011)

Just the cape, It's not the best i wished i'd cut a sharper angle from wrist to the bottom of my knee's but im happy with how it lays on my shoulders. :) sorry for blurry photo I havent got any black rope or something like it to hold the pauldron around my shoulder yet so having to hold it on.

Patterning (Posted 20th September 2011)

Started patterning out the back pieces, i managed to get whats shown done for tonight but bed now as college in the morning, i've outlined in red what i did, I think the two largest underlayers need a little more shape in them and the others need to be made about an inch shorter in width as they come around to about my stomach when they should stop at my sides (if that makes sense?) Anyway i mocked it up in some spare fabric i had to this is what the mock up looks like until i pick out a material i like for his tunic. Sorry about one blurry photo, hard to take photo's as i was haha.

Loops and holes (Posted 18th September 2011)

Put the holes in to add the stitching detail and added the loops and studs for the rope, its on both sides. :) working on the little silver connecting things now!

Patterns (Posted 17th September 2011)

Details added, I'll deepen them tomorrow after sealing them properly, Will be adding the stitches and the little tabs on either side to attach the rope ties onto later :)

Border and backing (Posted 17th September 2011)

The border of this is seperate as it was being stubborn and wouldn't sew together if it was all one piece haha, the backing of it is now a red material (not sure which though) and will be adding the details later

Vambrace stage 2 (Posted 16th September 2011)

All curved and stuck on, now waiting on a chestnut leather arriving to do the third and fourth layers under this. not putting belts on it to secure it until i know how big the mechanism is. so i dont end up making them too small or too big.

Silver! (Posted 16th September 2011)

Then brushed over with silver lightly, not the best but its my first time doing this technique, not bad for a first try i reckon :)

Painting! (Posted 16th September 2011)

base coat of black onto the finished moulds (took 1 coat)

stage 1 complete! (Posted 16th September 2011)

Bottom done and moulded around the vambrace too! now just to let it dry then i can start sanding it down to a smooth finish and carve the etchings in more before painting and wearing them down :)

mould part 1 done (Posted 16th September 2011)

Top seal done and patterns etched in, moulded it around the vambrace for ease when putting it on later. working on the bottom part now!

Mould (Posted 16th September 2011)

Start of the molding, doing each of the leaves individually, everything will be stuck together eventually after sanding and more shaping just doing the rough idea though :D

studded-ness! (Posted 15th September 2011)

studded-ness, and the carving is more prominent as i've lackerd and sealed it all. the paper template for the mould is on, about to strap it around something to do the actual mould itself.

Studs (Posted 15th September 2011)

Pattern done so now to stud the ouside of the first layer! have to bend the four prongs in first though because thats all i have, and to get them on! dont know how many their are i'll count later :)

base pattern done (Posted 15th September 2011)

base done i'll elaborate on it once i've studded and know where the mould for the pattern is going ontop of it (the creed symbol) then i'll add more around it. :)

Vambrace part 2 (Posted 15th September 2011)

Start of the vambrace, layer 1, i've made a paper pattern of what is going to be on it, i'll just have to mould it out and what not, then i know where to carve the patterns onto the leather, then stud the outside, then sew it onto the 2nd layer which is 1 cm bigger than this, once all these layers are done another layer goes under those two, a lighter colour that'll cover my whole forearm, i'll add the belts once i know how thick the hidden blade mechanism will be. to know how much space to give myself.

Vambrace (Posted 15th September 2011)

start of the first of 4 layers for the vambrace. heres two, one is about 1 cm bigger than the other, they'll go ontop of each other before being studded.

made from leather

Shoulder (Posted 15th September 2011)

Start of shoulder pad, one layer, you can see the shapes and bends and corners better when its stretched out, its yet to be put onto another leather backing along with some red lining and then the cape.

Leather is so hard to work with
