|Well, I decided to redo my whole dress for Alpine Height's group Alice In Wonderland cosplay in Midlands. I wasn't all that pleased with the last one, and this time around I wanted to make it look more influenced by Victorian ball gowns. The actual top half is boned and laces like a corset, though I wish i'd used steel boning instead D: I also wore a hoop skirt and a petticoat ontop of that, so needless to say it was funny to move around in it. |
The belt was also customized to lace up at the back (I spent so much time bashing eyelets through material with a hammer.. believe me) and tried to give the whole outfit a clockwork-esque look to it. Looking back though, there is a lot to be improved ;D
Overall, pretty happy with it.

I finally bothered to get a CosplayIsland account. Took me long enough, really ;(
Right now im debating over cosplay plans, however money, as always, is a problem. Hopefully i'll get them all sorted soon though.
