Costume Information

General
Cost : about £25. the boots were £60.

Description
Regular tomb raider underworld gear with a blue top instead of brown :D
totally remaking everything and hoping this costume will be 100% better than my last :D
i'm such a perfectionist :(

I'll have everything other than the grappling device and the camera thats' on her utility belt.

I will be wearing this to sat + sun of MCM expo! :D can't wait!!!

-Update-

Costume is now complete! :D just gotta make or buy...prolly buy some pouches to go on the belt and I'm done!!

Wow! You've done an amazing job with this! I've loved Lara Croft ever since I was little, and she's been somewhat of an idol, and I think you've really done her justice! I wish I could've been there at Expo to see the cosplay in the flesh...

holsters (Posted 15th May 2011)

completed holsters

used carboard and faux leather with coke can for the metal parts.

resprayed guns (H&K USP Match) (Posted 15th May 2011)

these guns are modelled from the H&K USP Match, they're very cheaply made, but they do their job.

gave my old guns a respray today.
the gun of the left side had been broken so i repaired it (very badly) with fimo. turned out like crap because i used the wrong glue.
I now refer to these as my 'con' guns, as i can take them to a con and it wouldnt matter so much if they got a little more broken, although actually it would, because i dont want to break them xD
I'm gonna get a new pair of these soon, hopefully.

Backpack (Posted 13th May 2011)

made from craft foam and faux leather.
the round nib thing is a tube lid painted silver, weather and scratched :)
i want to redo the front raised bits, they look poo.

top and backpack straps (Posted 27th April 2011)

decided not to sew the grey airtex mesh onto the sides, i think it looks nice without it.

might do eventually and do a proper guardian of light cosplay. but this is only an underworld cosplay with a GOL inspired top, my own variant of Lara ^^

btw yes, i'll admit now that I'm wearing a primark push up bra ;D my real chest size is pathetic and I want to do Lara justice. and so, a £5 bra to make me from a B cup to a D cup is essential!
