| Yakitate is a pure love of mine, what other than anime could turn an activity like *bakery* to be an epic tale of awesome? We did a full group cosplay for Minami 11, with a Tsukino, Kawachi, Suwabara, Tenchou, and Kuroyanagi. I had to track down a proper catering supplier (Nisbets) to order real bakers jackets in a style close enough for modification. Once the flaps had been sewn to match the Yakitate designs, there came much machine dying of fabric o.o My first dying attempt, and they came out pefectly! The trim and detail I cheapened out and did mostly with fabric paint and markers, but I did go out to Toys'R'us and find fake plastic bread to carry around \o/ and Laura as Tsukino baked cookies to bribe with hand out to people. | |
