Description
This dress was actually revised from my 1st attempt at a Princess Tutu cosplay which I was kinda unsatisfied with, so instead of kicking the original dress to the curb, I revamped it and made it into the Odette dress. Everything from the hot glueing of the feathers(GAH >.< I HATE FEATHERS),painting of the bodice pattern, wig Styling, tiny bits of hand sewing, the dusting of glitter and the jewel on the bodice was done by myself. The tiara-comb was bought at Claire's at the last minute >.> The tutu was bought at Discount Dance Supply online, decently priced thing too. To my surprise O.o The tutu was actually alot bigger than I thought it would be ^^ The shoes im wearing aren't pointe shoes. Sure I've been a ballet dancer for about 8 years or so, but I've never taken pointe,and I got scared out of it by a couple cosplayers on youtube that stated it. So i thought up an alternative, I got regular pink ballet flats and hand sewed the ribbons inside them. ^^ and stuffed a couple cotton balls in the bottom to fake a box shape. not the best substitute, but it works XD. It's actually a very comfy costume to walk around in. But the tiny flaw about it is that I can't sit down in chairs. Trust me, I tried, It didn't end well O.o

Ahh a ballet student irl..explains how you look relaxed and elegent holding the ballet positions. Im sure Ahiru would be pleased.

Does your tutu skirt tie around your waist or is it elasticated or is it joined onto the bodice?
