| -----WHAT MADE THIS SO EXPENSIVE WAS THE ACRYLIC PAINTS... 45% OF THE COST WAS ON ACRYLIC PAINTS!!!----- ************************************************************************************************************************ i must thank my wonderful friend Amber (hellokitty) for helping my get back into my costume and repair everything at the last minute when the whole costume fell apart! THANK YOU!!! ************************************************************************************************************************ My costume for the competition... I am totally limited in movement when wearing this costume... and due to the lack of time and poor outcome... i am due to just chucking this away XD waist armour- i drew out my tempplate on paper of a corset and cut it out on pleather and then stitched it up, the rows of silver are pleather too whch is stitched on again and painted silver. i then puncher whole into the silver lines using a screw so that i can thread ribbon into the whole corset... and due to the large amount of ribbon needed for this costume, i had to make mine own 40+ meters of ribbon (which was a damn pain) 11/08/2008 due to the blade hight and and not being the strength its ment to be... it is not snapped and at a condition of no ammendence... where as the full on armour has held up all the way... i will be remaking everything in the future.... | |
