| Yami Bakura from Season 2. This was so much fun to do! My dad made the wig out of foam and a white baseball cap with the front cut off, which was awesome. He also made the millenium ring, so I love him! The best part of this cosplay was the flowy jacket, and the lack of high heels. Had slight difficulties keeping my hair out of the way and the wig on but other than that it was great! Really awesome and thank you to everyone who asked to take my photo, and for the amazing group of people who invited me to the YGO group photoshoot on the Saturday at 1pm. I had a lot of fun! I also had a bunch of people yelling and hugging me. I had a lovely three-way hug with two Mariks! Somebody said hello Florence to me which was funny too. I really wanted to do Bakura as a cosplay because he has truly amazing hair and he is one of my favourite characters from both the main YGO series and the abridged series. I can't honestly say that I'm too proud of this cosplay as I didn't really put that much work in for it. I loved the end result but I really would have liked to do more towards it. But, saying that I am very grateful to my dad for making the fantastic millenium ring which must have taken a long time X_X. I shall keep it forever. Thanks Dad! | |

All Done 8D (Posted 7th May 2011) Borrowing a pair of jeans and shoes from someone else. Changed the cord of the millenium ring and it looks awesome! Also whitened my wig a little as it has...aged a bit X_X. And also done the sewing for my t-shirt and I am now currently wearing the finished product! Also made a plain bag with a transfer of my own Bakura drawing on it for moneyz and such on he days. Time to start saving for expo then! WOOP, roll on 27th! |

Ring Done! (Posted 28th March 2011) Dad sent me the photos of the finished Millenium Ring today, yay! Its so pretty! Unfortunately I won't get to try it on until mid April because its at home and I'm at university, but I'm excited anyway! I'm having a little trouble finding the right shoes as Bath seems to be preeeetty expensive for guys shoes AND jeans, which sux. Maybe I should go round to Bristol to have a gander there... |

Top Half Clothed (Posted 2nd March 2011) Managed to buy the Striped T-shirt for my cosplay yesterday and bandages for my chest binding. Today I found the perfect shirt so I have that now too. It is extremely baggy though so I'm gonna need somebody to take it in. Now for the jeans and trainers. |

Starting Out (Posted 6th February 2011) At the moment still sort of in the planning stages, but it is In progress. I am trying to be as accurate I can with this cosplay, including realistic wig! So far only the wig is done but in my humble opinion it looks immense! Cut out by my dad and stuck on to a baseball cap, it's made of foam and is coming along great. Hopefully I'll be able to upload some pictures of the wig soon. We're going to use a CD for the base of the Millenium Ring, and then I'll be hunting in charity shops and online for the rest of the clothes. I am planning on really lining my eyes for this event, so hopefully I'll be Bakura to the max! |
