Jacket + Complete (Posted 23rd May 2013) I have finally got round to remaking my coat for this outfit with better fabric. All I have to do now is hem the sleeves and collar, but I have had problems doing this as I was using left over fabric so I did have to cut corners with some things. ¬.¬ but overall it turned out okay ^_^ but with the coat done and it looks okay, this is officially done! ^_^ |

Styling The Wig (Posted 31st May 2011) I have only worked on the wig for about 15 mins at the moment but I like how it's starting to look...I have never really styled a wig before and doing an anime one is a big step...but Got 2B Glued has been great with this wig so far...and the wig is more yellow up close...it was just very bright when I took the pictures. I am hoping to work more on in tomorrow |

Wig Not Turned Up Yet (Posted 25th March 2011) I'm getting anxious about the wig for Joey as it hasn't turned up yet and it's getting closer to Kita...I hope it does turn up as I really want to cosplay Joey so much...he is an awesome character...but yeah I just really want the wig now...fingers crossed for me |

Trousers (Posted 22nd March 2011) Hey all I have decided on the trousers that I will be wearing as Joey and they fit really well and they are the right shade of navy...that was the main problem with these trousers was that I couldn't find the right shade of blue and when I did they were the wrong type of trousers. But I have nearly finished this one...working on adding sleeves to the jacket and getting that completed. I hope my wig turns up on time and then I need to find a pair of trainers that look like his...I'm going to be hunting in town tomorrow to see if I can find some. I'm looking forward to being Joey for the day ^_^ |

Coat WIP 2 (Posted 13th March 2011) I have been working on the coat again today and have gotten quite far in it...I have machine sewn most of it together. The only things I have to do with the coat now is sort out the collar and attach the sleeves. I'm happy with how everything has turned out with this cosplay so far. |

Coat WIP (Posted 11th March 2011) I have been working on my coat for this for a couple of days and it's looking good so far, just want to get it finished and I have been looking for the right trousers but I have had no luck so far but fingers crossed...I can't wait to cosplay Joey...he is such an awesome character...love him Will post more pictures of the coat hopefully tomorrow |

Wig Problems (Posted 2nd March 2011) I found some wigs that would be good for Joey but the more I look at it the more I think the colour is wrong...but I have seen a wig that the colour seems to be perfect as its a more golden blonde which is what Joeys is. But it's a long wig and a lot of money considering I will be cutting most of it...I don't know what to do...the wigs are shown on the left...please let me know what you think.... I need to order the wig today if possible |

Getting Started (Posted 2nd March 2011) I have been thinking about if I should do this for Kita and I think I will give it a go as I already have to top and the fabric for the coat and I'm watching a pair of trousers that I think will go well...but I need to work out what wig I should get as I am not confident with wig styling and all the Yu-Gi-Oh characters hairs are crazy. But I need to work this out today as I need to order it and it needs to come from Hong Kong so I cutting it close I think...but I think I may start work on the coat today as it doesn't look as hard to do as Kaiba's so I will post progress on it soon. Any advice on the wig will be useful...^_^ |

Ah yes the wig - I find with Yu-Gi-Oh! the character's hair is beyond gravity... I'd probably simplify it - I'm hoping to do that with Mai when I get to her ^^

Im afraid not...At the moment I will be going to Kitacon, Nemacon and Distant Worlds but Im hoping to go to the October Expo...not sure about anything else yet...love your Joey cosplay idea...
Mmmm I'm not sure if this advice is gonna help cos I'm terrible at wig styling myself but perhaps, maybe look into how other Joey cosplayers have done the hair? From all that I've seen, people have used a short blond wig for Joey and just styled the bangs of the wig and gave it a bit of volume but I think it still works ^^
The colour of the wig is really nice for Joey but is there one with a similar colour that's perhaps shorter? I know how you feel, I don't wanna hack off a long wig (unless you can save that for wefts later) xx

Well I have had some problems which I hope to get sorted soon if not then I'm going to be looking into another wig from coscraft...and thank you...after all the problems I hope I can do him justice

I am having to remake my coat as some paint got onto my other one when it was being made...which is annoying but I'm hoping to get that done next month sometime

As far as I know this year, I'm going to May expo, LFCC, JAF (I think), Hyper Japan (again, I think?)and most likely Oct expo... those are the ones I can afford to go to this year I think...?? and aww thank you - I would seriously love to take photos with you as Joey - I can imagine the photoshoot to be lost of fun lol xx
That's a shame...I am planning on Nemacon, thinking of Ayacon and maybe October Expo...maybe more...I'm not sure, will have to plan things out after uni finishes for the year. The photoshoot would be so much fun...^_^ No matter what we have to meet up for pictures...
