| This shoot was really fun to do, the day was perfectly misty which was great for setting the scene :) our only problem was geena's camera malfunctioning and wouldn't take any pictures :S but we made do in the end, even though we didnt take as many pictures as we had hoped :P many of them turned out blurry because of insuficient light, though thankfully some of them are still workable :) I basically already had most of the items needed for this, the trousers, my boots. i just made the axe and her necklace. holster wasn't much of a bother to make either :D the ice pick/axe thing i first made a base out of polystyrene, i didn't wanna make anything that i put TOO much effort into or buy an ACTUAL axe thingy, considering i'll be riding with it and i don't particularly wanna accidentally kill my pony! D: I paper mached it and covered it in LOTS of layers of PVA and acrylic paint. finished with some fake blood and lotsaa hair spray! (cheap much? xD) necklace was just plaited upholstery and fimo for the pendant. I was very excited to do this shoot because I FINALLY get to do a cosplay with my pony! and what a better way to do it than to honour my favourite heroine of all time? ^^ I will get a pair of new trousers for this, the ones I'm wearing are completely the wrong colour :P New photoshooooot! i LOVED this shoot, i got absolutely caked in mud and drenched!! i had so much fun! :D it's a shame most of my outfit got ruined but in all honesty it was completely and utterly worth it!!! my necklace (Posted 7th August 2011) i plaited some faux leather and made a pendant using fimo. painted with acrylics and varnished a little. |

Amazing photo shoot! Really couldn't tell which were the reference photos! Amazing costume and I like that accessory thing with four legs and a long face. Not sure it'd fit in at a con though :-P
