| I wanted to make this as I love Haruko's pink hair and the bass guitar she uses as a weapon lol! I made the dress from scratch by pinning bit of paper on a dummy to make the pattern and praying it came out ok lol! I used black ribbon to make the black stripes. The shoes were a pain as I couldnt find flat platforms at a price I could afford. I managed to find these long boots which were far too small for my tubby lil legs. I opened the seams at the back and fitted eyelets so I could lace them up, not perfect but at least I had white boots! I'd meant to take my real bass guitar with me (as I play!) but decided at the last min not to bother. I really regretted this at the Masquerade as it would have really completed my costume, lesson learned! I actually met the lady who voiced the english Haruko at Amecon in the dealers room and didnt realise until I got home, photo opportunity missed grrrr!! | |
