First! (Posted 28th July 2011) So this is my first ever costume ever... and of course you cant buy your first costume good heavens no... I have trialed and tested many ways and gone through about 3/4 pairs of leggins / shorts/ trousers to see the best way to create Cahins poofy shorts gah! I think ive finally onto a winner! Its only took me... 3 months :( |

This is coming along really well.
You might want to use a fine black marker to make the edges really crisp on your mask, and give it a clear coat of spray varnish to give it a porcelain look. I'd suggest doing that after a sanding of grade 2000 wet and dry, that won't take the paint off but it'll bring up the finish like a glassy smooth surface ready for the clear varnish.
This is really loooking great so far, i love the materials you've used for the sort of short-looking-things xD the name is gone from me!
but really looooving the look of this! can't wait to see some finished progress photos
