| I love the story of trinity blood and I love the artwork even more... and Its not CLAMP. So I'm branching out!!! This was my most ambitious project to date. Where to I even begin? I ended up only having about three weeks to make this in the end. >_< I used the same Jacket pattern that I used for sakura for the jacket. Though the pattern for the sleeves had to be made from scratch and mocked up using calico. The sleeves are made in three parts. The top puffed sleeve with a sleeve stay, a connecting piece and the lower sleeve. The lower sleeve was a cone shape with darts at the bottom. The skirt was your basic puffball,a Circle skirt gathered into a shorted straight skirt. I used my Chii petticoat to give the whole costume support at the back. The whole costume is decorated using and Applique technique. Where you layer different colour fabrics on top of one another and stich over the edges using a Zig-Zag stich. This is what took up most of the time! The Trail was modelled of the jacket pattern and laces on underneath the corset. I also bought a lace window panel to go under the trail All of the armour was made using the Craft foam armour tutorial which can be found on the forums. I used a hot glue gun to make all the raised details. I took a gamble on this , as I had no Idea what it would turn out like! The shoes are ankle boots with boot covers glued on and I used buttons for decoration! And Last but not least the Hat, Which was by far the hardest part! I used mounting board to get the shape, this was hot glued to a headband. then the fabric panel was glued over and the back panel stiched on. I was still doing this on friday night!!! This too soo much trial and error! Many people ask me if the hat is heavy, but I wore it most of the day and my neck was fine :) I have worn this costume so much in the last 4 Months that Its now retired! Until I go Abroad or another TB group needs me!! | |

In COSMODE.. *DIES* (Posted 13th October 2008) Cosplay.com where accpeting submissions for a photo college in cosmode 24. Redkun kindly sent me and original edited photo for me to submit and it got published! The picture is quite smallm but its still really surprising. |

Who took those photos because they are fantastic! They really show off this amazing costume and after reading all the work that went into I want to tell you again, how much I think this deserved first place :) (I know, I won't say it anymore I promise! )
This kind of costume is an inspiration to us all and I really hope to see more stuff like this in the future! It's certainly encouraged me to try harder and work my butt off to even be a third as this cosplay mlarky as you! XD

So yes, this costume was INSANE! I'm sad I didn't get to chat to you outside of the competition, but I think the swarms of photographers would have stabbed me with their lenses or something XD

This is an absolutely amazing costume, I'm so jealous! xD My jaw literally dropped when I first saw you at Amecon and at October Expo as well XD Grats on winning first place at expo and in the cosplay competition at Ame, you really deserved it! I hope one day my cosplay making skills will be as good as yours ^_^

Ahhh it's so pretty! *_* I remember seeing this at ame and thinking 'Now THAT'S a hat!' XD It all comes together so well, congrats on winning so many (well deserved) awards too. ^_^
