| Ever since i cosplayed princess garnet, I have always wanted to do a version 2 of it. There are so many mistakes with the last one that i want to redo. Garnet has to be one of my favourite ff girls ever. Plus i have a ff9 group planned, and still in 2 minds whether i will do the dress or bodysuit for it (probs bodysuit) but i do really REALLY want to redo this cosplay again, as i have it visioned in my head how i want it to look this time round ^^. This time embroidery thread will be used instead of just plainsewing thread as embroidery thread is a lot thicker ^^. bought from a previous garnet cosplayer Finally going to wear this saturday of hyper japan, its time for it to shiiiine!! | |

Rewear to Amecon 2012 (Posted 30th June 2012) Unfortunatly im not going to get Etna done in time for amecon due to money. . so time to rewear princess garnet, Since wearing her, i have lost EVEN MORE WEIGHT which im so happy about :), The petticoat i wore with the dress to hyper japan spring wasn't big enough, but fear not, i have a bigger pettiocat for amecon :) |

I might be able to wear Beatrix on the Friday now if you want. I'm not sure, but it's likely should be able to. The person who was going to do BoF IV has currently dropped out.

Gorgeous Garnet and probably the best embroidery work I've seen for any version of this costume. You got the thickness of the pattern right for the bodice, something I've yet to see. You look great in it as well.
I have to agree with J mercury, lovely choice of thickness on the bodice embroidary! I too have often thought it would look a lot better if it were thicker! :) I hope I get to see this!
