| Worn to: - Midlands MCM Expo Feb 2007 - London MCM Expo May 2007 After meeting my friends Jason and Richard (who were dressed as FFVII:AC Vincent and Cloud) at the October 2006 expo, I decided to make Aerith's FFVII:AC outfit. We also entered a skit into the masquerade for the first time ever, along with our friend Kayla, and we walked away with second place. :) Go us! The thing that I like most about this cosplay is probably my wig - it's a pain in the butt to get on and wear, but I've had so many people come up to be and say "wow, your hair is so long!" and then have a look of utter shock on their face when I tell them it's a wig. XD It's hilarious! The easiest part was using pieces from my Kingdom Hearts Aerith dress, i.e. the dress, the boots, the necklace and the hair ribbons. The bracelets for this one were again, easily bought, as was the wig. The wig arrived in bad condition though, and had to be restyled, but that was easy enough. The hardest part was probably keeping the wig on all day! XD It slips off backwards because it's so heavy, but it can be kept in place with hairpins. Just as long as I don't move my head too much, it stays on alright! | |
