Looking badass

Bang bang!

Costume Information

Cost : £5 (plus items I already had)
Time Taken : A day

Original character created for the tabletop roleplaying game Shadowrun.

Brandi is an ork (homo spaiens robustus), and a gun-for-hire with cybergoth tendancies. I've wanted to go ork for ages, and having worn the outfit in human mode, I realised it wouldn't take much to make me look like an old RPG character I created a few years back.

Outfit is mainly just regular clubbing clothes, teamed up with my acrylic yarn hairfalls, plastic "wolfman" tusks, and felt ears. The gun is from a kids game, and was picked because it looked furuistic, and was less likely to result in a visit from SO19

The ears were the hardest bit, and were based loosely on a tutorial for making faun ears. They are attached with hairslides, and kept in place with the hairband and goggles.

The tusks are my favourite part, but bruise my gums if I leave them in all day :(

While I enjoyed the costume, I think it might be better suited to an gaming event rather than something as diverse as MCM Expo. No-one had a clue what I was (and one person asked if I was "steampunk"!)

Thank you both :)

It was fun to wear, but I think I'll save it for gaming cons as no-one at the MCM Expo had any idea what I was ^_^
