Finally got round to start painting and adding details, but is still taking longer than I would have liked.

Taking far longer than I had hoped, but fortunately I had some time off to make some progress recently. Most of the armour pieces have been made and needs painting with some finer details added.

Since I was using paper mache on some other things, I thought I may as well start on the sword and shield. There's so much to do with just these bits...

Getting Started (Posted 29th December 2010)

This costume is something I've wanted to do for a while, but have been put off by the amount of time it would take me. Still, I thourght I get started now by making the helmet (though it did take a while), and will eventually get round to adding the details at some point.
