|Character: Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere|
Costume made by: Speckles
Been absolutely in love with Odin Sphere the minute I discovered it. I love all
The designs of the female leads, but none as much as Gwendolyn. Amazingly, I have somehow convinced some people to join in an Odin Sphere cosplay group.. These lovely people joined my group, love to ya!

- Remake wings to be more lightweight with more blue-toned feathers
- Redo foot armor out of worbla
- Remake shin armor from foam + vinyl technique
- replace white skirt (accidentally cut a wedge out of the hem, oops!)
- rework strapping system on leg armor
- new feather ear muffs
- make psypher crystal out of resin and light up with LEDs
Crown made from laser cut acrylic which was heat formed and glued onto a headband. Ear muffs are polystyrene balls with custom dyed feathers hot-glued into place, holes to slide it onto the headband (would change that in the future!)
Wig was made like how a lot of Saber cosplayers make the bun, google tutorials to see how it's done!
Gold neck collar is gold foil spandex wrapped around a craftfoam base with velcro to attach. Bodice is made from a duchess satin, as are the arm petals. The warrior skirt is leather sewn onto craft foam bases, and these sit on top of a mini hoop skirt I made.
The leg thigh highs are leatherette, and are a royal pain, they keep running down so gotta think of a way to keep them up in the future! The leg armor is a combination of worbla and laser cut acrylic and wood.
The shin armor is foam covered in silver foil spandex, and the feet armor are craft foam since I ran out of worbla!
Now onto the Psypher...
Just a curtain rail for the base, and cut out a bunch of shapes in MDF for the moon shape and end of the staff, these were shaped with my dremel rotary tool. The cones at the top of the psypher are acetate, which was a bad idea since someone knocked it and the glue came apart so easily! Will be getting this piece carved out of wood in the future so it isn't so flimsy. The psypher crystal was a stroke of genius and is just an old translucent plastic folder which I cut out a template and scored the shape out so I could bend it into shape, kinda like the cubes you would make in primary school during maths!
