Description
The vast majority of this cosplay is actually make-up and applied effects. Neatly broken down into; -Clothing/props White Jacket Trousers with Stripe stone/off-white vest sunglasses -Makeup Facial "Scar" White hairspray Tattoo (see below) The thing that really makes this stick is that Scar is a tanned character, a foreigner. Luckily I have the right skin tone, which makes this fit. The tattoo is by far the most time consuming thing here, other than the training regime I did to make myself physically more intimidating and filled out. The way I did the tattoo is by printing out the design on sticky back paper, cutting it into a stencil and then sticking it to my arm and filling it in with permanent marker (I do not recommend using permanent markers as you'll feel hungover afterwards, even if it did look like an actual tattoo. Use a good waterbased bodypaint) The design of the tattoo itself is NOT the transmutation circles that you might find on image searches, its like the ouroboros snakes in a figure 8 shape. I had to get it directly from the manga and piece it together. The forearm part didn't turn out as well as I had hoped so I used the ripped sleeve to cover my forearm.
