| I've wanted to do a Pokemon Gijinka for a while, but couldn't decide on who. So after searching for days I decided on Raichu; because I think (s)he's awesome. One of my favourite Pokemon to date; (s)he's such a sweeite :D And WAY better than Pikachu After quickly looking around on Ebay, I found a very appropriate wig for this costume, which I would also wear again afterwards as well (bonus) I also found so lovely orange boots to go with this, and some super cute knee high socks with bows on too. Just need the money to buy them now!! | |

Jacket Issues (Posted 21st October 2012) After stitching up the dress and the jacket and trying them both on at the same time, I've decided the jacket still needs further alterations. This is because I feel like I could be more fitted than it is at the moment. But I'm not going to worry about this costume any more until October Expo is over. |

Alterations (Posted 25th July 2012) As I mentioned in my last journal, the white dress ended up a little bit shorter than I had intended, so to compensate for that I've decided to deviate from the design a little bit and make the orange jacket longer than the white dress instead of the other way around. |

A year later... (Posted 11th July 2012) After starting this cosplay well over a year ago now I'm finally getting around to completing it. I've now added the jaggered ends to the bottom of the dress (which has ended up shorter than I expected) Kadaj006 will hopefully be assisting with the making of the tail because after a year I'm still none the wiser on how to do it. I'm thinking craft foam and fabric :D |

Beginings (Posted 25th July 2011) Today I have decided to get on with this costume. I still don't know when I'll be wearing it but I will at some point, maybe Expo. I got the basic shape of the white dress cut out, and the neck-scarf So we're getting there slowly but surely. Not too sure how to go about the tail... That'll come later |
