| This is the dress costume the character Liara wears when she is on Illium, working as an information broker, aswell as searching out the wherabouts of The Shadow Broker, an unknown character who wanted Commander Sheperd's body. The dress is made from dark green moleskin, smooth soft white pleather and the black edging from a soft ployester.There is a zip down the center back of the black edging and also at the side of the bodice. The fabric have a little stretch for comfort. The headpiece is made by a good friend of mine 'Satine', Micheala De'Bruce and is a work of art! She is on cosplay.com here and is willing to make headpieces for people (she also has an awesome Shakti headpiece and slave leia 'metal' parts) http://www.cosplay.com/member/2986/ I painted it to match the current images of Liara from the DLC game as this is the most high res and upto date rendering of the character. I pained the designs over a coating of Paxc, with a mix of Ben Nye liquid paint, Prosaide, and a spritz of Ben Nye liquiset. This creates a waterproof, smudgeproof makeup that im using on my skin to make a perfect match Blue contacts and nail varnish complete the look. I was wanting to make the first costume Liara wears in the first game, but couldnt find the right white fabric, so im making this for this Oct London Expo. Wearing definitely saturday and maybe sunday aswell. | |
