| I LOVE this costume. It's such a shame that my wig came out so fizzy. This entire costume was made by hand (without a sewing machine) and the embroidery took forever to do, but I'm so proud with how it came out :D I went with colours that seemed more...natural. The beige is a suede-y material and the purple a velvet (they seemed to be the best materials when looking at the refer. pictures). | |

Hmm, this gonna take longer than intended (Posted 8th September 2011) I've actually decided to write a journal entry for a costume for once. Well, I found out that while my mini sewing machine doesn't mind three layers of material, it won't do four so I managed to finish hand-sewing the top together last night, now I need to do the eyelets so I can do it up and make any adjustments, and then add the bias binding to the top and bottom. After some 'leather' cord to tie it up, I should be finished with the top. |

Pandora: :D Well, I've had to hand sew the entire outfit (so far that's the jacket, top and trousers and half the belt), so the embroidery was almost a welcome break.

Thank you :D I'll be wearing it in England on the Friday at Amecon (and my CW will be doing Amano Garnet with me :)), but I'll most likely wear it before then for a Sendai Comiket.
