Description
2009 was when I discovered the wonderful ninja world of Naruto Uzumaki. I become obssessed with the pupular series almost immediately and was engrossed in Naruto for nearly 2 years before I branched out and began watching other hypnotic series, Naruto still vague in the back of my mind. Now, nearly 4 years later I am no longer the 12 year old Naruto fan, but the 17 year old Naruto enthusiast. Neji Hyuga become a growing project for 2011-2012 as I began collecting small things to make my costume with while still creating other costumes at the time. The Jacket was bought but the other accessories were discarded or misplaced over the years. The pants will be made. The bandages have been a mystery to me but I think I may just use Medical Tape until I can make any future ideals to come to pass. The shoes were purchased mostly for reference purposes. I'm making three pairs of shoes this year and I needed a reference that was good. The shoes did not fit well in the beginning, slipping and sliding around, I could barely keep my toes from popping right out the front. So I created a mecha of elastic to ensure no slipping or sliding in the future. Contacts probably won't happen, haha, way to wussy for that, guys.

First Move: Jacket (Posted 10th February 2012)

So here's the beaf.

The jacket was bought in 2009 along with a pair of pants, nothing else. When it arrived in the mail I was sadly dissapointed to find the jacket was much to small and had a length that ended nearly past my knee. After a good test drive I quickly broke it in (It fits now, for some odd reason.) Literally, I broke it. The zipper jammed with no apparent reason and I was stuck in my Neji jacket for 30 minutes until I freed myself (yeah, yeah, laugh it up). The zipper snapped not long after that day, but with no reason to continue the costume I retired him. Now with my handy dandy sewing machine I shortened the length to my waist and fixed the zipper so that it would no longer give me problems in the future. Other things may change in the future, but that's for another time and this is only the first move.
