| I give up. She's too cute! I'd originally planned normal Sophie for May 2010, but I didn't want to fork out $60 bucks for a wig with the ponytail clips that wasn't even the right shade of purple...But after searching a bit, I've found long purple wigs a near-perfect color and half the price! I HOPE I can put the hair into pigtails, I know it won't be easy, but I want to do it. That way, I can also make her hair things aswell (another thing that bugged me about the other wig, I wouldn't be able to add those) adding to the authentic-ness~ As for the post-ending as apposed to normal...unlike most people, I kinda like the normal outfit (it's a bit ugly, but there's something nice about it) and I WILL cosplay it eventually, but this one's easier. And cheaper. And more comfy! And her shoes....are adorable! I'm sure I'll end up making the shorts a bit longer and hide my legs a bit under some tights because I don't want people to have to see them nekkid. Authentic-ness after comfort in this case, bah. Complete as she's gonna be for now! Missing back details and shoes for Amecon '12. And I wasn't GOING to wear this to Expomanga, but now that Hideo Baba is going to be there I SO AM! I have ordered a new wig for her too and should have my shoes done in time, fabric permitting! ~EDIT~ I'm part of a group with some friends and hopefully a bunch of others at May's '13 Expo =3 Gonna have the shoes done, fix the length of my sleeves and sort out some other stuff before hand though! And make shoes ffff gonna be fun (not!) | |

New wig! (Posted 16th April 2013) My old wig is just unable to be put up in pigtails again and I can't be bothered to buy another one of the same to sew into the old one as I was going to, buuuuut I DID find a perfectly colored pigtail wig for $30! And it's good quality?? Holy wowza! |

Next time! (Posted 15th August 2012) *Will fix the wig! Was a nightmare to style, but thanks to LemonPanda it was able to be pigtail-ified! I made the hair band covers too small too *sob* Gonna buy another and sew them together, somehow. *Will have shoes! Ran outta tiiiime *Should have gauntlets! Looking forward to continuing these~ *Will fix all of the thiiiings! Some missed stitching here and there to fix basically Had fun wearing her though, even if it was only briefly x3 |

Bits n pieces~ (Posted 8th July 2012) Was working on this on and off all day, which was nice~ Haven't spent a day on cosplay since April! x_x I have all the pieces for the sleeves ready to be merged (once I have the cuff fabric), the barebones of the shrug cut out (bias time next lord help me) and the dress is staring to take shape (just need to buy the fabric for the pocket outline and the buttons) |

Today I bought (almost) ALL of things! (Posted 29th May 2012) And it was expensive! xD Yesterday I was working on her gauntlets, trying to figure out what to make them out of and the like, how to shape them, etc~ Buuut yes, I bought almost all the fabric I need and a pattern! 2nd pattern I've ever bought, but my first real dress...so I figured I should bite the bullet and pay for a better outcome. Hopefully I'll start properly today! 8D |

hm-hmm~ (Posted 12th May 2012) I finally ordered my wig for Sophie! Tis the same one as in my ref-thing, and it was on sale so I figured "why not". I'm pretty worried about styling it though. |
